About the America
The "America" model was made by Westclox from
1895 until 1964. The case styles and movements changed
over the years. The "tin can" case design lasted from
1895 until 1932.

Features:
This is a nice example of the "tin can" style
America model from the Western Clock Company (Westclox).
It features a separate set and wind knob for time and alarm.
The alarm sets and shuts off with a lever at the bell.
Loud ticking and loud alarm sound. |

Condition:
The movement has been serviced and it runs and alarms as it
should. The nickel plating is
EXCELLENT. The plating is mostly worn off of the bell
from years of polishing. The original dial is VERY
GOOD, but has a few stains to add character. This
clock will turn 90 years old next month. |
